So we are now done with our eight week program. The weeks really did fly by. I had more fun then I ever though possible. I actually looked forward to going to the gym, which I never had before. Not only was this program fun but I also had great results. I ended up loosing weight but more importantly inches. I can tell a difference in my energy and how I feel. This program was such a great opportunity. Thank you so much Hilary and Sam. Yall were so much fun to work with. And also thanks to the others who did the program as well. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed as much as when I was with you all.

I finished the 8 week program, and I feel better than I have in years. Now, I realize that it is all about lifestyle. Now, I know the reason why I let my body get out of control was because I was not paying attention. It had nothing to do with “I can’t”; it is all about “I can” and “I will”. Now, it is about me being in control. I am watching what I eat, and I am moving my body. The results from the program have me amazed; I loss pounds and I loss inches-mainly, in the all important waist area.
An unexpected benefit from the exercise and the diet is that my mind is clearer, and I am feeling more confident.
I am very thankful to Hilary and Sam for their support and their guidance. I had the time of my life-literally.

We finished our 8 weeks with success. It was a great experience. I now know how to get a good workout and how to use the equipment, which makes me feel more confident when I come to the gym.
In 8 weeks I lost 14.5 lbs and 12.35 inches. From our 1st assessment to our final assessment:
*my flexibility increased by 5 inches
*I did 29 more crunches in a minute
*I did 30 more pushups
I am so glad that I had the opportunity to participate in this program. I am continuing to workout and eat healthy, which will keep me losing weight and inches.
Thanks so much to Hillary and Sam for working with us, to Bryan for documenting everything on film and to Anytime Fitness for starting this program. This really was so much fun.

I cannot believe that the 8 weeks are over! This was a wonderful experience! We lost inches, pounds and body fat, and we won strengh, flexibility, endurance, and new friends. Thanks to Hilary, Sam, Bryan, and all the other participants. All of you made these 8 weeks so much fun!. I love you all! GO GRAY TEAM!

We are going to be starting week 6. I can’t believe we’ve made it this far! This journey has been wonderful. I have a great work out partner and everyone else in the group is so upbeat. We all motivate each other to keep going. It’s definitely worth it! I can tell a difference in the way my clothes are fitting. Just the other day I wore a shirt that I could never really wear comfortably. Now it fits perfect. I’m excited and I’m starting to feel better about myself. Go Team Green!

We weighed-in and measured for the 1st time since we started our training 4 weeks ago. I was really happy with my progress.
I averaged 2 lbs of weight loss per week and I lost over 10 inches. I’m real encouraged to see what the next 4 weeks will bring.
The workouts are getting harder but I am able to get through it and I have a real feeling of accomplishment when I am done. Working out really does make you feel better.
Thanks to Anytime Fitness (Hillary and Sam) for deciding to try this program. I’m having a great time!

What a great 3 weeks. The trainers, Hiliary and Sam are awesome. They are helping me prepare for a physical fitness test where I have to do 12 push ups. I’ve never been able to do one, more or less 12. But thanks to Jim who corrected my hand position and gave me some additional exercises to strengthen my arms, I’m able to do 5 at this time. Yea…..I know ‘m gonna meet my goal. I just know it. We have a lot of laughs as a group and thanks to Bryan who showed us how to “speed walk” with a little hip action. Looking forward to another week. Thanks for this wonderful opportunity.

So last week I forgot to blog so this is my week two and three blog. I am really having a great time working out. I can definitely feel the work outs when I go home, but no pain no gain. All of the ladies are really fun to work out with and very funny. I didn’t think that I would like working out but I really do. I have learned a ton of ways to use the equipment that I didn’t know before. I think this program is great for me because it keeps me motivated and it is fun working out with other people. The diet is also going well. With Vitabot there are plenty of meal plans to choose from and even more food to eat. I’m never hungry and sometimes even find it hard to eat all the food on the plan. I can’t wait to start a new week, almost half way there!!!

Another week went by. This past week was another good week at the gym. I’m still having a lot of fun with Sharon, Kristy, Cecily, Darinda, and specially Lisa (my partner). Hillary and Sam work hard to make our workouts challenging and fun at the same time. I don’t want this program to end. I love it!

It is the end of week three, and if the adage that states “no pain-no gain” is true, then I am on the right track. Week 3 really had me feeling the workouts, and I am feeling like I am gaining strength and I am feeling like I am NOT gaining weight, but losing weight. The workouts are getting tougher, and I am really trying to rise to the occaison. I am determined to work this program and get the very best out of myself because of it. On Friday, Hilary tested our flexability and our strength. I was pleased to see that my strength was average; my flexability-well, it needs a lot of work. I am confident both these areas will be above average by the end of the program. Week four, here I come!

I tried to post the video on this page, but I couldn’t figure that out. I am new to all of this technology stuff, so you will have to bare with me. The video is a work in progress, as all of us are. I haven’t added the stuff that Bryan shot with the video camera, but I thought that everyone would at least enjoy seeing some of the fun we are having so far. Next week is the weigh in, I know that everyone will be please with their results. I am so proud to be a part of it.

We’ve made it through week three. Still a little sore but ‘no pain, no gain!’ Each week I can’t wait for the days we meet for our group work out. It’s a lot of fun and it keeps me motivated. Yesterday we had our first fitness assessment test. I really need to work on flexibility! I can’t quite touch my toes yet but I did pretty good on the push-ups. If I would have done one more push-up I would have been ‘excellent’ but I guess I’ll have to settle for ‘above average’.
There’s always the next assessment to look forward to!

Just finished the second week. I’m doing exercises and lifting weights that I’ve seen people do on TV. Just flipping through the channels. I never imagined I would be doing them myself. I’ve incorporated jumping rope (after I had a P.E. teacher show me how). It’s great and I’m looking forwarding to the results at the end of the 8 weeks. It’s exciting to see everyone committed. Thanks Hiliary and Sam for your support and thanks for the pedometers. 10,000 steps a day. Right? Okay, let’s DO IT.

Here we are beginning week three. Time is going by so fast! The women are working really hard and seem to be having a great time. I can see changes already. It appears that their t-shirts are getting larger.
I am so glad that we started this program! Sam and I are coming away from it feeling so uplifted ourselves. The idea was for us to motivate a group of people, and as it turns out they are motivating us! The energy of the group is contagious.
Keep it up!

Our 2nd week is over and I can tell a difference. I have increased my level and time on the treadmill when I do my cardio, and the training sessions seem to go by fast. It makes a difference when you have someone to work out with. As a group we all seem to be enjoying this. We had a few good laughs on Wednesday when they had us “hanging by our arms” doing ab work.
Looking forward to week 3.

Second week is gone and I feel fantastic! I have more energy and I feel that my body is getting firmer. Going to the gym is fun now, and I enjoy working out with my new friends. Hilary and Sam are very supportive and make the workout so much fun!
The diet is not that bad. I am eating a large variety of satisfying foods, so I am not over eating as I did before.
This has been a great week!

I am feeling stronger everyday! After completing week two of the “Loser Program”, I am starting to feel the changes in my body, in my energy level, and in my general well being.
The diet is more than satisfying and the work outs are challenging but doable for me. I really enjoy working out with my fellow “losers”. We share a lot of laughs which makes the workouts a lot of fun. Hilary and Sam are great trainers, and they really know what they are doing-they are a little tough though, but that is how I am going to see results. For the first time ever, I am looking forward to getting on the scale for the next weigh in;well, that maybe a little bit of an overstatement, but regardless of what the numbers on the scale reveal, I cannot deny that I am feeling better than I have in a long time. Six more weeks to go!

The first week of the program was awesome! I got a lot of encouragement from everybody at Anytime Fitness as well as from all the other ladies at the program. I even enjoy exercising. I can ‘t wait to see the results!

Well, I’m still here! My first week on the “Loser Program” has me feeling like a winner already, and I am feeling great-I thought I might be tempted to wimp out.
During the Monday, Wednesday and Friday workouts, my fellow “Losers” and I are given guided instruction on the equipment. This supervision gives me the reassurance that I am doing the reps correctly. In the past, I would workout on certain machines, and I wouldn’t have a clue if I was doing it right or not. I would be working out in vain.
The Vitabot diet is not so bad either, and I am the kind of person that likes to eat whatever pleases me. Now, I actually find it empowering to give thought to what I put in my body-afterall, I am the boss of me.
I am looking forward to the coming weeks of the Loser Program, and I am even looking forward to looking for a bathing suit for the summer.

My first week of working out with the program went great. I really like the other members and I think that everyone is excited to get going. The Monday, Wednesday, Friday workouts are my favorite. I like that we are doing different things each day. It keeps it interesting. I am not as sore as I thought I would be. I can definitely feel that I’ve been working out, but I’m not in a lot of pain. The diet is going well too. I still need to work on a few parts of it but I plan to fix all that this week. This week I’m sure will be great and I look forward to getting it started!

I’m just finishing my 1st week. I can already notice a difference in my energy level. I worked in the yard all day yesterday. Normally I would have been exhausted. I’m doing pretty good on the diet, struggling to make all A’s. Looking forward to tomorrow’s workout. (Friday’s was tough)
